Order Cutoff Time
We want your goodies to spend as few days in transit as possible. Therefore, we ship Mondays through Thursdays so that your package arrives before the weekend. It is especially improtant to consider this when sending goodies to a college or business. Generally they do not have delivery service on Saturdays, so we suggest you select a shipping method that will get the package to its destination before the weekend.
Orders placed before noon will be shipped that day. Otherwise, it will be shipped the next day. Orders received at the end of the work week will be shipped the following Monday, unless you select one of the expedited shipping methods.
If you would like the shipment of your order to be delayed, please type your request in the "special instructions" window, which will appear during the checkout process.
Delivery Policies
UPS is unable to ship to PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses. Please make sure that you DO NOT send us any orders to process that are going to those addresses as our UPS system cannot differentiate these addresses from otheres. Nona's Sweets is NOT responsible for any gifts addressed to PO boxes or APO /FPO addressess.
Please keep in mind that delivery times are to the destination address, not necessarily to the recipient. We cannot be responsible for packages left in doorways, pick up notices left when no one is home, or for slow mail delivery systems on campuses or businesses.
Deliveries can be made to the United States only.
Our products can be delivered using Two Day, Next Day, or Saturday Delivery service.
Most shippers access a $10.00 fee for each incorrect delivery address. Any changes to the address information AFTER the order has been shipped will result in a $10.00 charge to your credit card.
All addresses MUST be complete with the correct name, company name, street number, apartment/room/suite number, building number, floor number, city, state, and zip code.
Shippers cannot change an address in mid route, but once the first attempt at delivery has been made.
Once an order has been shipped it cannot be cancelled.
We are unable to accept requests for delivery at specific times of day.
For residential deliveries, if the recipient is not available at the time of delivery, the delivery person may leave the gift in a safe place for the recipient to retrieve when they return or attempt delivery the next day. This is at the discretion of the driver.
For business deliveries, if the business is closed or not accepting deliveries, delivery will be re-attempted the next business day.
